Deer Lake is a pristine, crystal clear, spring fed, lake 25 minutes north of Spokane, Washington.
The 1,200 acre lake was formed over 10,000 years ago, during the time when the Glaciers were receding, leaving this inland jewel surrounded by mountains rising 2,800 feet in elevation and the lake reaching depths of over 75'.
The lake is known by the locals for its great fishing and exciting array of water sports. The Deer Lake Resort offers a great weekend getaway as well as summer long sabbaticals. The thick rich forest around the lake gives ample room for Moose, White-Tailed Deer, Bald Eagles, as well as Cougars. All coming to the shoreline to cool off in the warm summer months or find food during the cold northern winters.
The lake has a very active Property Owner's Association with over half of all residences participating. Inland Northwest Residents have long kept this lake a quiet secret. Not visible from any major road, with only two secondary roads accessing the lake,Deer Lake is quietly becoming one of the most richly abundant, sought after, scenic lakes in Washington State.
